Cerakoting is the art of applying a high tech, liquid ceramic coating to a given part and then it goes through a curing process. The coating can be applied thin enough to some internal engine parts and most all external parts like valve covers, clutch covers, heads and cylinders.

 

Cerakote is unique because it can be used on a variety of different materials, from wood to metal, as well as plastic and rubber. The result is a modern looking finish available in a variety of different colors.

Not only does this process provide the vast color options that powder-coating offers, Cerakoting excels in strength and performance against its counterpart. Having a thin layer provides moving parts the ability to function properly while furnishing that extra protection against rust and reducing damage.

Pricing

 

Pricing is heavily dependent on the condition, size, and the state of disassembly for your part(s). On average customers can expect to spend $250 for a full set of engine covers and upwards of $400 for special colors and combos. Headers and Mid-pipes near $350.

Turn-Around Time

 

Most turnaround times are in the 2–3-week range. Again, depends on the services you need. Faster turn arounds times available upon request.
